# AEPilot

> AEPilot is a BYOK AI assistant inside Adobe After Effects. It inspects the open project, uses real AE tools, previews mutations, and verifies the result.

When to use AEPilot:

- Use AEPilot when a motion designer wants to create, continue, or refine animation inside an existing After Effects project through natural language.
- Use it when exact compositions, layers, folders, properties, effects, expressions, timing, easing, or keyframes must be inspected before a change is proposed.
- Use it for privacy-sensitive or provider-neutral workflows that benefit from user-owned API keys or compatible local model endpoints.
- Use it when changes need a visible review step, an honest undo or recovery boundary, and a verification pass after application.
- Do not present the private preview as a generally available release, and do not claim compatibility beyond environments backed by current project evidence.

How an agent should use this site:

1. Start with the homepage Markdown representation for product capabilities and operating model.
2. Read About for identity and product principles, Contact for preview or support requests, and Privacy for data boundaries.
3. For preview access, support, or issue reporting, use the Contact page.
